The 2014 Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, Russia, next month and there is a lot of controversy heading into the games.

First, there is concern about how the gay participants in the Winter Olympics will be treated in Russia.

And now the recent suicide bombings in Volgograd, which is about 400 miles from Sochi, has everyone concerned about the safety of the games.

Over 30 people were killed in the bombings, but the International Olympic Committee is still convinced that the Olympics will be safe and secure.

The President of the IOC said this,

"I am certain that everything will be done to ensure the security of the athletes and all the participants of the Olympic Games."

What do you think? Is it safe?
