Is the War on Christmas Real?

According to Sarah Palin, there are "angry atheists" all around the country who want to take the "Christ" out of Christmas.

And if you have watched Fox News lately, you can't go 30 minutes without them talking about the war against Christmas.

Even the Governor of Texas, Rick Perry, is fighting this Christmas time battle. He proposed a "Merry Christmas Law" this year that protects public school teachers. They can now freely tell their students "Merry Christmas" without getting punished.

However, is this war even really a war? Or is it a bunch of people making a big deal out of nothing?

After all, atheists only make up about 1.6 percent of the population here in America.

Could that small percentage really take the "Christ" out of Christmas?
