Many children today are completely misguided. Partially because with this generation we’re seeing an increased number of teens having babies while still being child-minded themselves. The children are not focused on education, have no real morals, and have preconceived notions that everything in life is just going to be given to them on a silver platter.

The parents of these children are as messed up as the teens themselves. Instead of bettering themselves, they’re teaching the children to follow in their footsteps by having kids at a young age, going after a mate just because that person has money, disrespecting adults, teachers, and other authority figures and only caring about bling and swag.

It’s a crazy world we live in when a teenage boy thinks they can fail every subject in school, yet get accepted to a great college and go on to make millions by being a professional basketball player or a doctor with no training. Parents need to do better, not just young parents but older parents as well. People we’re supposed to learn from our mistakes, not pass them down generations. Children usually do what they see the adults in their lives doing, and if you can’t be a parent and step up to the plate, please don’t be sorrowful when it’s your child on the news having robbed someone, raped someone, murdered someone, or become a victim of violence themselves.

This article was not written to place every parent in this category, some parents are actually great parents.
