Twerking Success
Twerking Fail

Miley Cyrus hosted 'SNL' this past Saturday and everyone was expecting her to do something crazy, but the controversial 20-year-old actually tamed things down a bit.

In fact, she didn't even twerk that flat butt of of hers! "Now that white people are doing it, it seems kind of lame." She joked during her opening monologue.

One of the highlights of the night was a music video parody of her own song, "We Can't Stop." The SNL version was titled, "We Did Stop (The Government)" which featured Miley Cyrus dressed as a scantily clad Michele Bachmann. The music video has "viral hit" written all over it.

She also performed two songs during the show. 'Wrecking Ball' and 'We Can't Stop' both performances were quite "tame" compared to some of her more recent performances. Believe it or not, she didn't even touch herself inappropriately with a foam finger! It was quite refreshing.

So, what did you think of her performance? Were you disappointed that she didn't do anything crazy? Or were you pleasantly surprised at how decent she was throughout her performances?

By the way, Miley Cyrus' SNL episode tied last week's season premiere in the ratings. Quite an impressive feat when you consider that the start time was delayed by NFL programming.
