- Hate to see him go!
- It's about time!
The great Craig Ferguson announced on his show Monday night that he will be stepping down as host in December.
He told the audience that ten years was enough, and he revealed that he was actually going to throw in the towel two years ago.
“About two years ago, I had decided after eight years…that it was probably time for me to move on and do something else. And CBS came to me at that time and said, ‘Well, you could hang around and we’ll give you a fancy new studio and a podium for your gay robot skeleton and a stable for your horse and an invisible band behind a curtain. We’ll give you all the trappings of late‑night television.’”
This won't be the last you see of Ferguson though. He will be the host of a new game show called, "Celebrity Name Game" which will debut later in the year.
Several celebrities went on Twitter to say how much they were going to miss Craig, his fake horse and his gay robot.
Will you also miss his shenanigans? Or are you ready for a new host?
